Crowbar

Crowbar are a sludge metal band formed in New Orleans in 1989 around singer and guitarist Kirk Windstein. Their heavy, slow sound is considered formative for the entire genre.

Windstein is also a member of Down and Kingdom Of Sorrow. Across three decades Crowbar have released more than a dozen studio albums, among them "Odd Fellows Rest" (1998) and "Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form" (2001).
