Death Angel

Death Angel are an American thrash metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area, formed in 1982. Alongside Metallica, Exodus and Testament they belong to the first wave of Bay Area thrash. Their debut „The Ultra-Violence" (1987) was written when the founding members — all related to one another — were still teenagers.

After a long hiatus in the 1990s the band returned in 2001 and has released albums steadily since. Singer Mark Osegueda and guitarist Rob Cavestany form the core of the group. „The Evil Divide" and „Humanicide" cemented their reputation in the 2010s as one of the scene's most reliable thrash acts.
