Def Leppard

Def Leppard is a British hard rock band formed in Sheffield in 1977, emerging from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal before rising to global stadium status in the 1980s.

The albums "Pyromania" (1983) and "Hysteria" (1987) sold in the millions; songs like "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Photograph" and "Animal" remain setlist staples. Remarkable, too, is the story of drummer Rick Allen, who continued playing with a specially designed kit after losing an arm. The band also features singer Joe Elliott and guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
