Gloryhammer

Gloryhammer is an international power metal band founded by Christopher Bowes, the mastermind behind Scottish pirate metal band Alestorm.

Their trademark is a fantasy narrative running across every album, centred on Crown Prince Angus McFife and the Kingdom of Fife — complete with stage costumes in which each member embodies a character from the story. Musically, classic nineties power metal meets orchestral bombast and maximalist choruses. Bowes' stated goal: a saga spanning 21 albums.
