Metallica

Metallica is an American metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 and the most commercially successful band in metal history — leaders of thrash's "Big Four", with well over 100 million records sold.

Albums like "Master of Puppets" (1986) and the "Black Album" (1991) redefined the genre; songs such as "Enter Sandman", "One" and "Nothing Else Matters" are part of the collective memory. The line-up features singer and guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo.
