Napalm Death

Napalm Death are a British grindcore band from Birmingham, formed in 1981. They are widely regarded as the pioneers of the genre, fusing hardcore punk, extreme death metal and outspoken politics into a sound that still defines them today. Their debut „Scum" (1987) and the one-second track „You Suffer" became milestones of extreme music.

Vocalist Mark „Barney" Greenway has been the band's constant voice since the late 1980s. Across more than four decades, Napalm Death have challenged expectations and redefined the limits of extreme music without softening their stance. Their latest album „Savage Imperial Death March" arrived in 2026.
