Onslaught

Onslaught came out of Bristol in 1982, started as a hardcore punk band and moved quickly into thrash — one of the few British acts of the eighties who could hold their own in the genre.

Albums like "The Force" (1986) are now regarded as British thrash classics. The band split in 1991, returned in 2004 and have been active ever since. Founding guitarist Nige Rockett is still on board; singer Sy Keeler, the voice of the classic era, is back at the front.
