Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age are a rock band formed in 1996 in Palm Desert, California, around singer and guitarist Josh Homme. Emerging from the desert-rock scene around Kyuss, they shaped modern stoner and alternative rock with albums such as “Rated R” (2000) and “Songs for the Deaf” (2002).

Praised for their driving groove and Homme's rotating cast of guests, QOTSA rank among the most influential rock bands of the 21st century.
