Rammstein

Rammstein is a band formed in Berlin in 1994 and by far the most internationally successful German-language rock band — with more than 20 million records sold and sold-out stadiums across several continents.

Their trademark is Neue Deutsche Härte: massive, down-tuned riffs over pounding industrial rhythms, topped by Till Lindemann's rolling baritone and lyrics that swing between provocation, black humour and poetry. Equally defining are their pyrotechnic live shows, widely regarded as the industry benchmark. The line-up has remained unchanged since the beginning: singer Till Lindemann, guitarists Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz and drummer Christoph Schneider.
