Rotting Christ

Rotting Christ is a band formed in Athens in 1987 by brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis, and is regarded as one of the defining acts of Hellenic black metal.

Across more than three decades the band evolved from raw black metal into an atmospheric strain steeped in ritual and mythology — with lyrics in numerous languages and incantatory choirs.
