Septicflesh

Septicflesh is a Greek band formed in Athens in 1990 and one of the pioneers of symphonic death metal.

Their signature is the fusion of crushing death metal with orchestral arrangements — on several albums the band recorded with full symphony orchestras and choirs. Live, the sound unfolds into monumental, darkly atmospheric shows.
