Behemoth to Take 2027 Off — Nergal Announces Break With No Live Activity
In a new interview, frontman Nergal makes it plain: after the autumn tour the Polish extreme-metal institution goes on hold, with at least a year of no live shows planned for 2027.

Behemoth mastermind Nergal has spoken in a new interview about the band's plans — and for 2027 they look unusually quiet. Once the autumn tour, which the Polish extreme-metal band is playing alongside Dimmu Borgir, wraps up, Behemoth will be put on hold for the time being.
The reason, Nergal says, is simply the need to recharge after years of relentless activity. For 2027 he signals an extended break:
We're looking at least a year off — there will be no live activity from us.
Before that, though, there are still shows to come: the band plays London's O2 Academy Brixton on October 17, 2026, followed by Helsinki's Icehall on October 27, 2026. Their latest studio album, "The Shit Ov God," arrived in May 2025.
