Chelsea Wolfe has announced her new album The Dark and shared a first single, „Cold“. The record is due in 2026 via Loma Vista Recordings and pulls the California songwriter into a darker, electronically tinged chapter.
Wolfe describes the album as the product of a difficult stretch. In interviews she talks about no longer abandoning herself and finding sobriety. Musically, her signature gothic folk meets pulsing electronics and heavy textures.
Chelsea Wolfe releases her studio album The Dark on August 21, 2026 via Loma Vista Recordings. It marks a new, electronically tinged chapter, previewed by singles including „Cold“.
The album comes with an extensive fall tour across the US and Europe. The US leg opens in mid-September in San Francisco and runs through Seattle, Denver and Boston before reaching New York. Wolfe has already teased further singles.
