Coal Chamber drummer Mikey Cox – cancer surgery was „a massive success“
The drummer calls the July 10 procedure a success and hopes it was the last operation.

Mikey „Bug“ Cox, drummer of Coal Chamber, underwent another operation related to his cancer on July 10. Afterwards he called the procedure a massive success and said he hoped it was the last one.
A day later, on July 11, Cox shared a video showing him in a hospital gown taking his first steps out of the room with a walker. Cox had made his illness public in April, describing stage 3 cancer and teaming up with a cancer charity.
Coal Chamber, the nu-metal band led by singer Dez Fafara, reunited in 2011. Many fans have been following Cox’s recovery through his social-media channels.
