Twenty-eight years after forming in Umeå, Cult of Luna deliver their tenth studio album. „In the Shadow of Your Shadow" arrives on November 6, 2026 via the band's own label RED CRK. The title track, complete with a music video, serves as the first single.
The album spans nine songs and runs roughly 71 minutes. The band describes it as one of their darkest and most emotionally crushing records. It was tracked together with Daniel Berglund and mixed by Magnus Lindberg.
Two tracks feature guests: Joe Duplantier of Gojira sings on „Sadness Will Reign", while David Eugene Edwards lends vocals to „One More Day". It continues the run of high-profile collaborations that shaped 2016's „Mariner" with Julie Christmas.
