Endspace broadcast from the edge of space — debut album „First Contact" due in October
The Canadian sci-fi black metal duo announce their first album. „First Contact" arrives in early October via Transcending Obscurity Records.

Nine songs, nine „transmissions": for their debut, Canadian duo Endspace have set themselves a strict concept. „First Contact" arrives in early October 2026 via Transcending Obscurity Records, numbered from „First Transmission" through „Ninth Transmission".
The band recently unveiled „Second Transmission", following the earlier „Sixth Transmission". The tracks are framed as signals from extraterrestrial senders, each „transmission" given its own role. Musically, Endspace fold synthesizers, vocoders and hints of death metal and industrial into their black metal framework.
Endspace are two musicians who also play in the death metal band Fractal Generator and handle every instrument on the record themselves. The sci-fi corner of black metal is thinly populated — which is exactly where the duo plant their flag.
