Ferret Music Is Back – Bore and Wounded Touch Signed
Cult label Ferret Music returns – founder Carl Severson signs Bore and Wounded Touch and announces reissues from Racetraitor and more.
For the hardcore scene it is a small sensation: Ferret Music is back. Founder Carl Severson, once the vocalist of NORA, has relaunched the legendary label after many quiet years — and immediately signed his first two bands: Long Island mathcore crew Bore and Midwest metalcore band Wounded Touch.
Bore recently drew attention with their 2025 album „Feral", which landed on several year-end lists; alongside the Ferret return, the band premiered the video for „Feed". Guitarist Danny Kopij described signing to Ferret as nothing short of the honor of a lifetime — a label the band had always looked up to.
Beyond the new signings, Ferret announced a run of vinyl reissues, including classics from Remembering Never, Torn Apart, Old Wounds and Racetraitor. For a label that once paved the way for bands like Every Time I Die, the return is more than nostalgia — it is a statement for the underground.
