Game Over are pressing on. The Italian thrash metal band releases its seventh studio album „When Darkness Falls" on September 18, 2026 via Scarlet Records. The first single, „Break Away", is out now with a video.
Lyrically, „Break Away" takes aim at warmongers, corrupt politics and the attempt to sell obedience as virtue – a call to question authority and think for yourself. Musically the band stays its course: fast thrash in the tradition of Metallica, Exodus and Testament, sharpened with a hardcore edge in the vein of Cro-Mags and Suicidal Tendencies.
The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, with cover artwork by Mario López. Its ten songs run to around 32 minutes.
