Godsmack Get a Graphic Novel Based on Their Album „Awake"
Godsmack and Sumerian Comics are releasing „Godsmack – Awake", a graphic novel that reimagines the 2000 album as a dark hardcover story.

Godsmack are moving into comics. Together with Sumerian Comics, the band are releasing "Godsmack: Awake," a graphic novel now available to pre-order. The full-color hardcover runs to 96 pages.
The source material is the 2000 album "Awake." Sumerian Comics frames the record as a dark, supernatural narrative, drawing on the lyrics, themes and atmosphere of the work. "Awake" was one of the albums that made Godsmack a fixture on US rock radio.
For the band, led by singer Sully Erna, it is a step into a new medium. Sumerian Comics has previously adapted works by other rock and metal acts into graphic novels.
Godsmack stay active on stage in 2026, with concerts in Europe and the US from August, including dates in Tallinn, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
