Illumishade Drop New Single „Heatwave" Feat. Adrienne Cowan

Illumishade are back with new music. „Heatwave" is the name of the single the Swiss quintet has released together with a video. This time Fabienne Erni is not alone at the mic – Seven Spires frontwoman Adrienne Cowan guests on the track.

The band, led by Erni and guitarist Jonas Wolf, who both also play in the folk metal group Eluveitie, takes a darker turn on „Heatwave". Murky electronics carry the verses, joined by distorted, down-tuned riffs. The song was produced by Wolf and Claudio Rodriguez, who also handled the mix.

„Heatwave" follows „Paralyzed", released in May. Both tracks show a band pushing its blend of symphonic and modern metal further toward electronics and heaviness. Illumishade have not officially announced an album so far.
