KISS Release Their Legendary 1976 Anaheim Show Officially for the First Time
42,000 fans, the biggest crowd of their career at the time — 50 years on, the August 1976 concert arrives as 'KISS Destroys Anaheim 76' on CD and vinyl, newly mixed by Eddie Kramer.

It was the night KISS truly became a stadium band: on 20 August 1976 the "Spirit Of '76" tour — better known as the Destroyer tour — rolled into Anaheim Stadium. More than 42,000 fans turned up, the largest crowd the band had played to at that point. "Destroyer" had been released six months earlier.
The show was recorded at the time by producer Eddie Kramer but never officially released, circulating for decades as a sought-after bootleg. For the 50th anniversary the 60-plus-minute concert finally gets a proper release — as "KISS Destroys Anaheim 76", newly mixed by Kramer from the original multi-track tapes.
