Pure Reason Revolution Announce New Album „Terrifying Angels“

Pure Reason Revolution are back with a new album. „Terrifying Angels“ arrives on September 25, 2026, the British band’s fourth record since their 2019 return. First single „Spin Like Fire“ is out now with a music video.

Singer Jon Courtney explains the title through an image – an angel isn’t the cute cherub, but traditionally an overwhelming, terrifying being. Built around Courtney and Chloë Alper, the group has paired layered harmony vocals with progressive and art rock since its 2006 debut „The Dark Third“, widely seen as a modern genre classic.

In November 2026 the band plays a UK tour with dates in Bristol, Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Liverpool and London. „Terrifying Angels“ continues the steady run of releases Pure Reason Revolution have delivered since their comeback.
