Steelheart Cover Badfinger Classic „Without You" With a Video

Steelheart singer Miljenko Matijevic has taken on one of the best-known ballad classics in rock history. The band has released a cover of „Without You" together with an official video.

„Without You" was written in 1970 by Pete Ham and Tom Evans of the British band Badfinger. It only became a worldwide hit through the versions by Harry Nilsson (1972) and Mariah Carey (1994). Steelheart now offer an orchestral rendition built around Matijevic's four-octave voice.

Matijevic founded Steelheart in Connecticut in 1989. The band's biggest success remains the ballad „She's Gone" from their self-titled 1990 debut. The group stays active live, including dates in West Hollywood and Las Vegas.
