Steve Von Till Of Neurosis Announces August 2026 Solo Tour

Steve Von Till, singer and guitarist of Neurosis, is heading out on a solo tour in August 2026. The US run takes him to Oakland (August 21), Pioneertown (August 23) and further across California, with Six Organs of Admittance in support.

Away from Neurosis, Von Till is a far quieter proposition. His solo albums live on acoustic guitar, a weathered voice and wide, spare soundscapes – dark folk rather than a wall of sound. These shows lean into exactly that: small stages, little volume, plenty of space.

Oakland’s Neurosis have been regarded as pioneers of post-metal since 1985. While the band itself has rarely played live of late, its members keep their solo projects moving. Von Till’s August dates are the next step in that quieter parallel world.
