Rather than writing new songs, Tesla look back at the tracks they grew up on. „Homage" is the new album by the Sacramento hard rock band, out on 17 July 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl – a straight collection of covers.
Across 14 tracks the band tips its hat to names like Queen, Elvis Presley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sam Cooke and Etta James. Just one original, „Never Alone", sits among the covers. Ahead of release, Tesla shared their take on Climax Blues Band's „I Love You".
Guitarist Frank Hannon put the heart of the record up front: it is about the lyrics and the vocals, not the effects. Singer Jeff Keith and the band stay true to their earthy, blues-based approach.
Tesla are also on the road: alongside Mötley Crüe and Extreme, the band plays the U.S. run „The Return of the Carnival of Sins" in summer 2026.
