Arch Enemy

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band founded in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott and one of the best-known acts in the genre.

The band made its name with a combination of melodic twin guitars, crushing death metal and a series of defining frontwomen — from Angela Gossow to Alissa White-Gluz and current singer Lauren Hart (previously of Once Human). Amott remains the main songwriter; their most recent album "Blood Dynasty" was released in 2025 via Century Media.
