Carcass

Carcass is an extreme metal band formed in 1985 in Liverpool, England, around bassist-vocalist Jeff Walker and guitarist Bill Steer. With early albums such as "Reek of Putrefaction," the group shaped goregrind before helping to define melodic death metal with "Heartwork" (1993).

After a long hiatus, Carcass returned in 2013 with "Surgical Steel"; their latest album "Torn Arteries" arrived in 2021.
