L7 are a rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. With songs such as "Pretend We're Dead", Donita Sparks, Suzi Gardner, Jennifer Finch and Demetra Plakas became one of the defining all-female bands between punk, grunge and metal in the early 1990s.

After a hiatus from the late 1990s, the band reunited in its classic line-up in 2014, toured worldwide and released a new album, "Scatter the Rats", in 2019.
