Protest the Hero

Protest the Hero are a Canadian progressive metal band from Whitby, Ontario, known for technically demanding compositions, shifting time signatures and the high register of vocalist Rody Walker.

Alongside Walker, the line-up features guitarists Tim MacMillar and Luke Hoskin and bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi. Albums such as "Fortress" (2008) and "Volition" (2013) are regarded within the scene as genre landmarks.
