Fuming Mouth return with „The Ringing Bell“
The new album arrives on July 17 – with former Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg for the first time. Singer Mark Whelan has come through leukemia.
Three years ago it was unclear whether Mark Whelan could carry on at all. The singer and guitarist of Fuming Mouth had come through a leukemia diagnosis and a punishing course of treatment. Now his band is putting out a new album.
„The Ringing Bell“ is released on July 17, 2026. It is the first record with Jay Weinberg on drums, formerly of Slipknot. The band shared the singles „A Blaze of Nihilism“, „Cheat Death“ and „Finally Fearless“ ahead of it, each with a video.
Musically, Fuming Mouth stay with heavy death metal that carries a hardcore edge. Illness and carrying on run through the advance songs, without the band tipping into sentimentality.
