Gorod Share Second Single „Remains" From „The Ember Gone"
French technical death metal masters Gorod follow up with „Remains", the second single from their album „The Ember Gone", due 28 August 2026.
Gorod keep building anticipation for their new album. The band from Bordeaux, France has released a second single, „Remains". It comes from their eighth studio album „The Ember Gone", out on 28 August 2026 via Season of Mist.
Back in June the group had shared „Forgiveness" as the first taste, complete with a video. „Remains" ranks among the album's more epic tracks and showcases Gorod's trademark mix of knotty rhythms and melodic, jazz-tinged guitar work.
„The Ember Gone" is the eighth studio album by French technical death metal band Gorod, out on 28 August 2026 via Season of Mist. The band shared the singles „Forgiveness" and „Remains" ahead of the release.
The band tours in September 2026: together with Allegaeon and Abysmal Dawn, Gorod play a run of shows across the UK and continental Europe, closing at the Euroblast Festival in Cologne.
