Psycroptic Release New Album „The Pulse of Annihilation"
Tasmanian technical death metal veterans Psycroptic released their album „The Pulse of Annihilation" via Metal Blade on 17 July 2026, led by the single „Ashes Of A New Dawn".

Bassist Todd Stern was full of praise for the track ahead of release; according to vocalist Jason Peppiatt, its lyrics work as a sequel to „Ashes Of Our Empire" from the „Divine Council" album. The nine songs continue the technical, riff-driven course of brothers Joe and Dave Haley.

An Australian tour follows in August, with dates in Devonport, Hobart, Adelaide and Sydney among others. Since 1999, the group from Hobart, Tasmania has been one of the most consistent names in technical death metal.
