GWAR Reissue Beyond Hell for Its 20th Anniversary
GWAR mark 20 years of Beyond Hell with a remastered deluxe edition – on vinyl for the first time, out 25 September 2026, plus the Eighth Lock video.

Twenty years on from „Beyond Hell", GWAR are dragging their 2006 opus back into the underworld. The Richmond shock rockers are reissuing the album as a fully remastered deluxe edition: out 25 September 2026 via their own Pit Records – and on vinyl for the very first time.
The remaster was handled by Paul Logus, who has previously worked with Anthrax and Killswitch Engage. Physical editions include a previously unreleased outro track. The original was co-produced in 2006 by Devin Townsend, who recalls cornering frontman Dave Brockie in an elevator and offering to work for free – which is how he ended up behind the desk for „Beyond Hell".
Heralding the reissue, GWAR have released the remastered version of „Eighth Lock" alongside a long-lost music video for the track.
GWAR have performed as a barbaric alien warrior horde since the 1980s, notorious for their blood-soaked stage spectacles. Founder Dave Brockie died in 2014; the band carries on his legacy with a rotating line-up and remains a steady presence on the road.
GWAR's tenth album — a rock opera / concept work about the band's journey into Hell, dark and told as a continuous narrative.
