Leper Colony Announce Third Album Back to Primal Sludge

When a Morgoth singer and one of Sweden's busiest death metal musicians join forces, the result sounds like the old school. Leper Colony, the project of Marc Grewe (Morgoth) and Rogga Johansson (Paganizer), has announced its third album: „Back to Primal Sludge" is out on 9 October 2026 via Transcending Obscurity Records.

The title says it all. Grewe and Johansson go for raw, filthy death metal with a thrashy drive, just as on their self-titled 2023 debut. A first taste has already been released.

For Grewe, Leper Colony is one of the more active projects alongside Morgoth; for the prolific Johansson it is one of many – the Swede is involved in dozens of bands.
