Rob Halford Sings 'Balls To The Wall' — Accept Celebrate 50 Years With 50 Guest Stars
For their anniversary album 'Teutonic Titans 1976-2026', Accept re-record their classics with prominent help. On the signature track, the Metal God himself takes the mic — with Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs on lead.

It is the kind of line-up metal fans assemble in their heads and never dare to hope for: for the re-recording of their signature song "Balls To The Wall", Accept have brought in Rob Halford. The Judas Priest singer takes the first verse before Accept frontman Mark Tornillo steps up. The solo is played by Matthias Jabs of the Scorpions, with former Pantera bassist Rex Brown on bass and Jason Bowld of Bullet For My Valentine on drums.
Wolf Hoffmann, guitarist and co-founder, considers the choice self-evident: Rob simply is the Metal God — and once it was clear he would take part, assigning him this particular song was the most obvious call imaginable. Hoffmann played all the rhythm guitars himself.
The track is the second single from "Teutonic Titans 1976-2026", the album marking the band's 50th anniversary, out on 4 September via Napalm Records. The concept is ambitious: 19 classics from 1980 to 1989, each with a different combination of guests — around 50 musicians in total.
For their 50th anniversary, Accept re-record 19 of their classics — with around 50 guest stars from across the metal world, from Rob Halford and Kirk Hammett to Tobias Forge.
