Rush Reportedly in Talks for Las Vegas Sphere Residency

Are Rush heading for the Las Vegas Sphere? According to a report in the UK's The Sun, the Canadian progressive rock band are in talks for a residency at the spherical arena, with a deal potentially signed within weeks.

Rock radio host Eddie Trunk went further on SiriusXM, calling the residency a „done deal" and saying 16 to 18 shows are being discussed for next year. There is no official confirmation from the band or the venue. The claims rest on unnamed sources and radio commentary, so the report should be treated with caution.

After drummer Neil Peart died in 2020, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson returned to the stage in 2026, with German musician Anika Nilles on drums and Loren Gold on keyboards. The Sphere has recently hosted residencies by U2, the Eagles and Kenny Chesney.
