Russian Circles Announce New Album „Nine"

Russian Circles are back with a new record. "Nine" arrives on 28 August 2026 via Sargent House — the ninth studio album by the Chicago instrumental trio, so the title fits.

The first single "Empath" landed on 24 June 2026 along with a music video. It opens slowly before tipping into the massive, doom-laden riffs that Mike Sullivan, Brian Cook and Dave Turncrantz are known for. "Nine" holds seven tracks in total, among them the opener "Borehole" and the closer "Seventh Seal".

Since their 2006 debut "Enter", Russian Circles have worked entirely without vocals, building their songs out of long, patient crescendos. Alongside the album, the band announced an extensive North American tour starting in late September 2026.
