More than four decades into their career, Stryper are back: the Californian Christian metal pioneers have set 25 September 2026 as the release date for their 18th studio album "Throne Of Thorns", out via Frontiers Music Srl. As a first taste, the band shared the anthemic title track along with an official music video.
Singer Michael Sweet describes the title track as a powerful message about redemption — heavy yet melodic, classic yet modern. Drummer Robert Sweet calls it what he feels is the finest record of the band's career.

Alongside the album, the band is on an extensive US tour that kicked off in July in Arlington, Texas and runs into the autumn. In September Stryper also play the Loud and Proud Festival in Wissen, Germany.
