The Black Dahlia Murder Celebrate 'Nocturnal' — European Tour for the 20th Anniversary
For the 20th birthday of their genre classic 'Nocturnal', the US death metallers head out on a big European tour in early 2027 — with a set drawing heavily on the 2007 album.

Cause for celebration: in 2007 The Black Dahlia Murder released their third album "Nocturnal" — and 20 years on the melodic death metal band brings the record back to European stages with the "Two Decades Of Nocturnal" tour. The shows feature a special setlist that, according to singer Brian Eschbach, draws heavily on the classic, rounded out by fan favourites from across their catalogue.
The celebrated album at a glance:
The band's third studio album is regarded as a landmark of modern US melodic death metal — celebrated in 2027 for its 20th anniversary.

"Nocturnal" was released on 18 September 2007 via Metal Blade, entered the Billboard 200 at number 72 and earned the band a Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award. After the death of co-founder Trevor Strnad in 2022, founding guitarist Brian Eschbach fronts the band as singer; the line-up is now bolstered by guitarist Wes Hauch.
