The Ocean Premiere New Single Belligerence From Solaris
The Ocean premiere Belligerence, the second single from their twelfth album Solaris, due September 25, 2026 from the Berlin post-metal collective.

Berlin post-metal collective The Ocean have unveiled “Belligerence”, the second single from their forthcoming album “Solaris”. The record is the band's twelfth studio album and arrives on September 25, 2026.
“Belligerence” is a heavy, dense track that, by the band's account, deliberately nods to earlier albums while charging them with fresh intensity. It also works as a calling card for new singer Enrico Tiberi, who takes over on the microphone. The single “Light Pollution” preceded it.
Founded in 2000 by guitarist Robin Staps, The Ocean are known for conceptually driven albums built around science and philosophy. “Solaris” continues that thread.
“Solaris” is the twelfth studio album by Berlin post-metal collective The Ocean, due September 25, 2026. It is the first album to feature new singer Enrico Tiberi. The singles “Light Pollution” and “Belligerence” preceded its release.
