Trivium Are Working On A New Album – Their First With Drummer Alex Rüdinger
Trivium have teased a new album – „a whole new chapter“ per Corey Beaulieu. It is their first record with drummer Alex Rüdinger.

Trivium have revealed the first details about their upcoming album. In an interview, bassist Paolo Gregoletto and guitarist Corey Beaulieu described it as „a whole new chapter“ for the band. The record is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
It would be the first Trivium album with drummer Alex Rüdinger, previously of Whitechapel, who initially stepped in for the fall tour. Singer Matt Heafy has been talking the record up, calling it arguably the strongest of the band’s career.
Orlando’s Trivium have been one of modern metal’s defining bands since „Ascendancy“ (2005). Their latest album, 2021’s „In the Court of the Dragon“, was followed by relentless touring, and the new one is set to open the next chapter. In October 2026 the band plays several shows in Australia.
