Twisted Sister offshoot Bent Brother plays one-off New Jersey show

Twisted Sister have been done since 2016 – but the musicians haven't gone quiet. Under the name Bent Brother, which the band itself calls its „evil twin", a one-off show has been announced: Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Bent Brother present themselves as a less theatrical version of Twisted Sister – essentially the same music without the garish 1980s stage show. Twisted Sister shared the announcement on their channels with the line „If you know, you know!".

Whether it stays a single date, those involved left open. Twisted Sister disbanded at the end of 2016 after a farewell tour, a few years after the death of drummer A. J. Pero in 2015. The band became famous in the 1980s with anthems like „We're Not Gonna Take It" and „I Wanna Rock".
