Fen are a post-black metal trio from East Anglia in eastern England, formed in 2006 around mastermind Frank ‘The Watcher’ Allain. The band pairs the English strain of black metal with atmospheric, wide-open arrangements; their lyrics circle the fenland marshes, melancholy and impermanence. ‘Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth’ (2026) is their eighth studio album and the first part of a two-album concept.
