Cliff Burton — Digital 3D Museum for Metallica's Bass Legend
KnuckleBonz360 and the Cliff Burton family estate are opening an immersive 3D museum for Metallica's late bassist — launching in summer 2026.

Cliff Burton is getting his own digital museum. The family estate and statue maker KnuckleBonz have announced the „Cliff Burton Museum" on the KnuckleBonz360 platform — an immersive 3D space set to launch in summer 2026.
Fans will be able to explore virtual artefacts from Burton's career, alongside interactive features and exclusive merchandise. Cliff's music and spirit continue to inspire fans around the world, and the family is proud to celebrate his legacy this way, the estate said according to Blabbermouth.
Burton played in Metallica from 1982 to 1986, shaping the albums „Kill 'Em All", „Ride the Lightning" and „Master of Puppets" with his melodic bass work. On 27 September 1986 he died aged 24 in a tour-bus crash in Sweden during the band's European tour.
KnuckleBonz is best known among collectors for its limited Rock Iconz statues; proceeds from an earlier Burton statue went to the Cliff Burton Music Scholarship Fund. Interested fans can join a waiting list for the Backstage Experience.
