Cradle Of Filth Pull Out Of Brutal Assault 2026

Cradle of Filth will not appear at Brutal Assault in 2026. The British extreme metallers have cancelled their scheduled slot at the Czech festival. In a short statement the band said they were moving the appearance „due to circumstances very much out of our control" to another year, offering no further detail.

Brutal Assault runs from August 5 to 8, 2026 at the Josefov Fortress in Jaroměř. Cradle of Filth had been announced as part of a bill that also features Body Count and Primus. According to Metal1.info, Satyricon step in for the vacated slot.

It is another setback in a turbulent year for the band. Their current album „The Screaming of the Valkyries" arrived in 2025, and North American dates are lined up for the fall of 2026.
