Ira Black returns with a new album. His project Apocælypse releases its debut "Fænix" on August 28, 2026. The latest advance single, "Black Box," is out now.
Black is known as a guitarist for his work with Vio-Lence, Lizzy Borden and Metal Church. With Apocælypse he blends classic heavy metal with thrash-leaning aggression. The debut single "Intell-I-Gents" had already drawn attention in the scene.
"Fænix" is the debut album by Apocælypse, the project led by guitarist Ira Black. It is due out on August 28, 2026. The band shared the single "Black Box" ahead of release.
"Black Box" offers another taste of the album. The band has not yet revealed the full tracklist.
