A New Era for Arch Enemy — Lauren Hart's Live Debut Is a Success
After the surprise departure of Alissa White-Gluz, the band faced the toughest task of its career. The first concert with their new frontwoman in Beijing answered the key question — emphatically.

It was the question hanging over the band for months: can this work? In November 2025, just days after the end of the "Blood Dynasty" European tour, Alissa White-Gluz unexpectedly announced her departure — after eleven years as the face of Arch Enemy. In February the band introduced her successor with the single "To The Last Breath": Lauren Hart, previously of Once Human.
On 27 March came the first live show together, in Beijing, opening their Asian tour. The verdict was unambiguous: the crowd celebrated the band as if no change had taken place, and online reactions were overwhelmingly positive. Arch Enemy themselves seemed almost taken aback by the strength of the approval.
Michael Amott has meanwhile hinted that "To The Last Breath" is not the only new material with Hart: during their first sessions together he sent her several new pieces, which have since been recorded and mixed.
This summer the band brings the "Back To The Root Of All Evil" tour to Germany — deliberately in smaller venues than usual. Alissa White-Gluz, for her part, now sings for DragonForce.
