Iron Maiden are letting go of part of their life's work. The band has sold a 50 percent stake in their music catalogue to Swedish entertainment company Pophouse. Announced on 14 July 2026, the deal covers publishing and master rights, name, image and likeness rights, and the brand surrounding comic-book mascot Eddie.

Pophouse is no ordinary record company. Co-founded by ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus, it is the outfit behind the virtual ABBA Voyage show in London and a planned KISS avatar project. Similar ideas are on the table for Maiden: an „Infinite Dreams" museum experience that already launched at EDDFEST in Knebworth, a cinema film of the ongoing „Run For Your Lives" world tour, and a digital universe built around Eddie.

Manager Rod Smallwood described the partnership as one that lets the band finance and realise its many plans faster, adding that there is „a great deal more to come" for Maiden. Neither side disclosed the value of the deal. For context, Pophouse reportedly paid more than 300 million dollars for the KISS rights.

Iron Maiden are currently marking their 50th anniversary and have sold more than 100 million records worldwide. The „Run For Your Lives" tour runs until the end of 2026, after which the band will take a break from touring.
